City of El Paso Public Policy
Statements
These policy statements were developed by the El
Paso City Council during the Strategic Planning
Conference which was held October 13, 2005. The
policy areas covered are: economic development,
community development, transportation, citizen
involvement and services and operations.
Economic Development Policy
Statement
To become the city with the lowest unemployment
rate and highest per capita wages in the United
States.
